About Us

The GovernMental is a growing politics-based news website founded and run by current high school senior and future political science major Jackson Cohrs. We believe in the value of engaging youth in both local and national politics, which we encourage through our GovernMental Youth Outreach Project. We aim to make it as easy as possible to get involved in and understand politics, by providing articles breaking down complex political processes, explaining the real-world impacts of political decisions, and publishing opinion articles from teens around the country.
